Day 1
MORNING
Set off to explore Motte Tilly chateau and its « remarkable garden » (60 hectares).
Lunch of a local produce.
AFTERNOON
Visit to the Marnay-Sur-Seine botanical garden, a “scientific” garden accessible to all, where you will discover wild plants and vegetables, spices, and other medicinal plants. Tour the fabulous city of Troyes exploring its medieval gardens . Dinner and night in your *** hotel.
Day 2
MORNING
Head to Dosches to visit the windmill and its delightful and simple gardens (flavours of former times, medicinal plants). You will lunch in a restaurant, where the flower garden offers you a pleasant time to stroll.
AFTERNOON
Visit to the Church of Longsols. This timber frame church was built in the 15th century. You’ll discover its nave consisting of four bays, its uniquely styled transept and choir, and its slate-covered central spire.
Dinner and night in your *** hotel.
Day 3
MORNING
You will visit the Musée de Fromage (Museum of Cheese) followed by a tasting of Chaource cheese, then you will experience the fromagerie of Mussy, the department’s last artisanal cheese shop, and partake in a cheese tasting. Lunch of a local produce.
AFTERNOON
After a walk through the Priory gardens, head to Les Riceys, its vineyards, its cadoles (traditional stone shelters), its 3 churches, 3 controlled origin appelations (including the famous Les Riceys rosé to taste) and its château with its classical park and garden.
